not much done on the house this week ,our final walkthru is a week monday ,they still need to do floors, backsplash, fence, central air, central vac,  cut the curb (driveway comes after we move in they do all at once)..... 

they did put the sidewalk in and have marked where the curb is to be cut !!!

in between dropping girls off to school, brisket to vet to be fixed, microchipped and get a shot ,cleaning the house for a showing tonight, i am refinishing a bench dad made for me when i moved into my first bowmanville house (1993) so it will be ready for the new bowmanville house .will be on the front porch.got this outdoor fabric at ikea and will make a cushion for the bench and also cushions for the red table and chair set,that will hopefully also fit on the front porch of the new house.

red table and chair set we bought in france for front porch .marianne painted it on a previous visit (was green)...now i need her back to paint the front door on the new house matching red!!!!!also got enough fabric for tablecloth.

bought some more fringe and made runners for coffee tables and end tables from left over drape fabric .the fringe cost as much a metre as the fabric !!! 11 metres to do valance boxes and 6 metres to do runners.

made the toppers to go with bedroom drapes. (marianne ...found the metal button maker kits and they are cheaper )

made runners for the dressers (just need tassels).

bought a wider whiter lace and finished off the edges of the chairs that marianne reupholstered(just have arms left to do,saved the hardest for last)

she finished up her chores, these are the drapes,recovered chairs (lots of cursing during that)and show pillows for the master bedroom...

today was shopping all day ...left at 7 this morning for stratford then shakespeare then st jacobs....antiquing...got home at 9 tonight van was full...good thing marianne goes home tuesday .....tomorrow she is making drapes so my checkbook is safe ...only 1 more shopping day left glenn......................some of the stuff i bought today
